Art Auction for African Famine Appeal {Finished}
And the winner is…..
Thank you very much to the lovely and talented Amy Stace. The winning bidder. Bless you. xx
As we are all aware, there is a crisis in Africa; drought, conflict, escalating food prices have created a serious shortage bordering on famine, and it’s getting worse. They need our aid, children are dying, more will die soon. To that end I am auctioning two of my original illustrations never before offered for sale, as I had not intended to part with them. However, I feel that this is an important cause, so there we have it.
I am offering two illustrations rendered in ink and acrylic paint on A4 acrylic paper. They are signed on the back and will be sealed in protective plastic envelopes.
I will run the auction until Saturday 13th August. To bid or pledge for either piece, leave a comment on this post (remember to include the title of the piece you are bidding on). Each illustration has a starting bid of £20 (and it should be mentioned I have never sold an illustration for as little as this, so please bid generously). When the auction ends, the winner/winners will donate the money directly to the UNICEF appeal and forward the confirmation email to me. The money does NOT come to me. On receipt of the email (and you should also send me your address), I will then mail your artwork by registered post to you. That’s it. Please, please, please reblog this, post it, twitter it, facebook it, anything to help. Thanks.
Cheers
